Do you want to renovate an outdated fence affordably or give your garden a new look? The half-round bamboo fence roll, 180 cm wide and 200 cm high, is the perfect solution. Our half-round bamboo rolls are made from durable Moso bamboo poles with a diameter of 30-50 millimeters. Because the rolls are made from half-round poles, the bamboo cracks less, while we can still ensure a natural look and minimal transparency. Due to its product characteristics, this product is often used to cover an old garden fence or as a wall covering. The rolls are also used as indoor wall decoration.

Properties

Every half-round bamboo pole is unique, so color variations in the fence roll are possible.
The diameter of each rod in the bamboo fence roll may vary slightly.

Installation

Always try to leave at least 2 cm of space between the bamboo fence and the ground to avoid direct contact with wet soil, as this can cause black stains over time. You can mount the fence roll onto a wooden batten while installing the fence.

Drill 4 mm holes through the bamboo poles with special features so that you can mount the half-round bamboo fence roll against an existing wall or wooden fence.4 mm bamboo drill. Do this every approximately 20 cm in the horizontal direction and fasten the bamboo fence with4 x 50 mmwith the screws. Repeat this at the top, middle and bottom of the fence for maximum stability. Do not use excessive force when tightening the screws, so as not to damage the bamboo rods.
Mounting the bamboo fence roll against a chain-link fence is achieved by usingdouble-loop wiresor ties. Wrap the cable ties around the galvanized steel wire running through the bamboo poles and tighten them onto the metal chain-link fence.

Adjusting the size of the bamboo fence roll

A great advantage of bamboo is that it is easy to work with. You can simply adjust the width of the bamboo fence roll by opening the galvanized steel wires at the sides of the roll. Pull out as many poles as you need and fold the steel wires back into place, done!
To adjust the height of the fence, you can cut the bamboo poles with a fine-toothed saw blade. For a perfect result, it is also a good idea to wrap strong tape around the bamboo poles before cutting them to size, to avoid frayed cuts.

Maintenance

Bamboo used outdoors changes in appearance over time. We recommend treating bamboo fencing annually withBamboo Booster, a specially developed natural oil that increases durability and preserves the bamboo’s natural yellow or black color.
