Prestige Bamboo Outdoor Patio boards are made from 3 layers that are pressed together, so the board is extremely strong and stable. The bamboo decking boards are 580 cm long and easy to install onto Azobe joists using special mounting clips.

Bamboo decking boards are a good alternative to wooden boards, as they are a durable and environmentally friendly option with similar mechanical properties. Our renowned bamboo boards are tested to ensure excellent quality.

A unique feature of the bamboo decking boards is the sturdy tongue and groove on the main side: this is only possible with extremely stable materials and allows an unlimited number of boards to be connected. Thanks to the especially symmetrical shape of the sides, you can choose either a grooved or a smooth surface, allowing quick installation of decking boards fitted with clips.

The Prestige bamboo decking can be used on both sides and installed as a grooved or smooth deck. Using laminated bamboo strips instead of fibres means less material and glue is needed, so the specific weight is only 600 kg / m³. All bamboo planks are formaldehyde-free and pre-treated.

Functions and Maintenance

Prestige bamboo decking boards are treated with a special outdoor oil to protect them from sun, rain and mould. The bamboo decking boards are designed to last a lifetime.

To preserve the original colour, it is recommended to treat the bamboo boards with Bamboo Shield every year. How often Bamboo Shield oil needs to be applied depends on the location of the decking boards. For example, the sun-exposed side suffers more than the shaded side and must be protected earlier, as it weathers faster.

Thanks to a particularly unique production process, it is extremely durable. Its excellent stability also brings another major advantage: it allows the boards to be installed end to end with a precise tongue-and-groove fit, which prevents large cracks at the end joints.
