Beach-woven bamboo plywood consists of 3 layers and measures 2440 x 605 x 20 mm. The core of this solid bamboo panel consists of vertically side-pressed bamboo strips, and the outer layers are made from thread-woven bamboo fiber. The carbonized color is achieved by heating the fibers, which caramelizes the natural sugars contained in the bamboo.

These bamboo panels are unique thanks to their tightly woven outer layer and laminated core. The 3-layer construction also ensures high stability and a playful look, which is in high demand for applications where the side and face grain must remain visible. Beach-woven bamboo plywood is intended for indoor use only.

Works with bamboo plywood

• All our bamboo panels are untreated, but they can easily be finished with wood oil or varnish to achieve the desired look.
• The inner layer of thread-woven bamboo plywood consists of laminated bamboo strips, which may show small gaps between the strips. This is done to optimize the stability of the panels. These small gaps can be filled once the panel is finished.
• Spring-woven bamboo is harder than oak, but the panels can be sawn and drilled with ordinary woodworking tools. Just make sure the tools are well sharpened.
• Solid bamboo panels can be glued for indoor use with waterproof D3 glue.
