Description

This three-layer carbonized bamboo plywood, measuring 2440 x 1220 x 30 mm, is built from 3 layers of horizontally placed, pressed bamboo strips. On regular-pressed bamboo plywood panels, the visible strips are wider, giving the panel a unique look.

The three-layer structure ensures high stability and a playful look, which is in high demand for applications where the sides of the panel are visible. Solid bamboo panels are excellently suited for making worktops, kitchen countertops, cabinets, stairs, etc.

Treatment

Bamboo plywood always has a visible side and a back side. The back of the bamboo panel usually has more color options than the visible side.
All our bamboo panels are untreated, but they can easily be finished with wood oil or varnish to achieve the desired look.
The inner layers of bamboo plywood consist of laminated bamboo strips, which can result in small gaps between the strips (on the sides, not on the front or back). This is done to optimize the stability of the panels. These small gaps can be filled once the panel is finished.
Bamboo plywood can be sawn and drilled with conventional woodworking tools. Just make sure the tools are well sharpened.
Solid bamboo panels can be glued for indoor use with waterproof D3 glue.
