Heather Fencing Roll 500 x 200 cm

This heather screen, 500 cm wide and 200 cm high, is made from young heather and is approximately 15 mm thick. The branches are bound together with thin galvanised wire, spaced approximately 10 cm apart.

The privacy screen is environmentally friendly, decorative and ideal as a garden shelter or to add privacy to your garden. The natural structure of the heather fence allows ivy and other climbing plants to grow quite close to it. When covered, the screen also has sound-dampening properties.

Heather rolls are packed in carry bags with handles and can easily be mounted on posts or an existing fence. The light-colored screens have a transparency of approximately 50%.

Adjusting the size of the heather rolls

• To adjust the width of the fence, cut the galvanized wires to the desired width using pliers.
• To adjust the height of the fence, you can cut it to the desired height with pruning shears.

Installation

We recommend mounting the rolls at least 5 cm above the ground to get the maximum effect from the fence. You can rest the fence roll on a wooden board while you install the fence.

• The 500 x 200 cm heather roll is very easy to mount against an existing wall or fence using special 3.5 x 25 mm fixing screws. Position the screws between the branches and tighten them so that the washer presses the branches firmly against the wall.
• Installing the fence against a trellis panel or chain-link fence is easiest using wire ties or cable ties. Wrap the wire ties around the galvanized wire running through the screen and fasten them to the metal fence. To reduce transparency, double up the heather screen or attach it to both sides of the wire mesh structure.

General properties of the privacy screen

• Heather is a natural product, so its size may vary from the stated dimensions. The same applies to its density.
• When used outdoors, the privacy screen has an average lifespan of approx. 5-8 years.
