Beach woven bamboo panel crushed carbonated 2500 x 1250 x 20 mm

This crushed wire woven bamboo panel measuring 2500 x 1250 x 20 mm is made of crushed bamboo bars which are compressed under very high pressure (2200 tons). The carbonated color is obtained by heating the fibers, which causes the natural sugars in the bamboo to caramelize. Due to the use of broken bamboo stems, these panels have a very unique look and pattern. The use of crushed bamboo stems is the latest technology for the manufacture of woven bamboo panels, also called 5th generation woven bamboo panels or SWB5G.

The hardness, dimensional stability and high durability make string woven bamboo panels not only ideal for indoor use but also for outdoor applications (during treatment). They can be used for the manufacture of heavy tables, benches, street furniture, patio tables and clothes.

Works with woven bamboo

• All of our woven bamboo panels are untreated but can easily be painted with wood oil or varnish for the desired look. For outdoor use, we recommend that you cover the woven bamboo with epoxy or a closed target system.
• The treatment of string woven bamboo can be compared to working with hardwood. Drilling, milling, sawing, planing and grinding are all possible. However, the hardness of the woven bamboo affects your tools. Therefore, we recommend that you use cemented carbide tools or tools with diamond-enhanced cutting surfaces.
