Black Bamboo Lamella 300 cm

This black, 4 cm wide, 300 cm bamboo lamella is made from Indonesian Java Black bamboo and has a natural dark brown colour. Our bamboo slats are freshly cut and have a planed surface, which makes them easy to work with. The average thickness of the bamboo strips is 6-7 mm.

With black bamboo lamella you can create beautiful, natural accents for both indoor and outdoor use. They are well suited for covering walls, ceilings, columns, counters and rods, but also for making leg or mirror frames, skirting and panels. In addition, bamboo slats are extremely flexible and strong, which is why they are often used to make bamboo bows.

WORKING WITH BAMBOO SLATS

Covering a surface with black bamboo panels can be done in a few simple steps:

1. First decide where you want to use the bamboo strips. You can place the slats vertically, horizontally or diagonally to create any pattern. Cut the slats to size and place them neatly next to each other.
2. Floor or wood glue, nails or screws can be used to attach the bamboo panels. The method depends on the surface you want to apply the slats to.
3. When using screws, pre-drilling is essential to prevent the bamboo from cracking or splitting. Nails should be used at the nodes, preferably thin nails with a nail punch.
