Reed Fence Roll 600 x 200 cm

This 600 cm wide and 200 cm high reed fence roll is made from high-quality freshwater reed cane. The canes are approx. 6-8 mm thick and tied with thin galvanized iron wire, spaced approx. 10 cm apart. These reed mats are slightly transparent and provide excellent privacy for the garden, balcony or terrace.

Reed screens are inexpensive, environmentally friendly and have multiple uses. They can be used as outdoor growth protection (the reed guard protects against three frosts) or for growing climbing plants and vines. The rolling fence is used for integrity at events or in industrial areas, but also for decorating old fences or grids.

Adjusting the Size of the Reed Fence

• A major advantage of reed canes is that they are easy to work with. You can easily adjust the width of the reed fence roll by cutting the galvanized steel wires to the desired width using a buckle.
• To adjust the height of the reed fence, you can cut the stems to the desired height using pruning shears.

Installation of the Reed Fence

We recommend installing the fence at least 10 cm above the ground to avoid direct contact with wet soil and to maximize its durability. Rest the fence roll on a wooden board, for example, while you are installing the fence.

1. You can easily attach the 600 x 200 cm reed fence roll against an existing wall or fence using special 3.5 x 25 mm mounting screws. Place the screws between the canes and tighten the screw so that the washer presses the cane stems against the wall. Do this every 20 cm horizontally and repeat this towards the top, middle and bottom of the fence to achieve maximum stability.
2. The reed fence roll is attached to a chain-link fence or mesh elements using galvanized wire ties or straps. Pack a galvanized knot with a double loop around, the wire runs through the reed fence roll, and attach them to the metal fence.

General Properties of the Canes and Care Tips

• The reed fence roll is a natural product, so its dimensions may vary slightly. This also applies to density / throughput time.
