Woca Invisible Oil Primer is a water-based product suitable as a base coat for untreated or freshly sanded wood surfaces indoors. It is designed as the preparatory layer for Woca Invisible Oil.

Result
Invisible Primer & Oil is a water-based oil system that preserves the look of freshly sanded wood. Invisible Primer is always applied as the first coat, followed by a coat of Invisible Oil. The system is especially suitable for light-colored wood.

Instructions

Invisible Primer
Apply Invisible Primer with a short-pile paint roller on a maximum of 20 m² at a time. Let the primer rest for 5 minutes. Work the primer into the wood using a single-disc polishing machine with a beige or wine-red pad. Change the pad regularly to prevent the primer from clogging it.

Remove excess Primer with dry, lint-free cotton cloths until the surface no longer looks wet, then let the floor dry for at least 3-4 hours.

Invisible Oil
Sand with a wine-red SPP pad and vacuum thoroughly.

Apply a thin, even layer of Invisible Oil using the same special roller. Always work in small sections of max. 10 m² or less. Wait up to 5 minutes for the oil to be absorbed.

Buff the surface with a single-disc polishing machine and a beige/red pad until the oil is completely worked into the wood (change the pad if needed to prevent buildup). Remove excess oil from the surface with a cotton cloth. Treat the entire surface this way until the wood looks evenly saturated.

EXPERT TIP: If the primer or oil dries too quickly, e.g. due to high temperatures or low humidity, working with both products can be made easier by adding extra product.

The surface can be used gently the following day; after 7 days the oil is fully cured under normal indoor conditions. Avoid contact with water before this time.

Finishing
For extra protection in high-traffic areas, we recommend re-treating the floor with Invisible Oil Care after one week.
