Description

Flame-retardant spray is a safe and user-friendly fire-retardant impregnation agent suitable for treating natural materials such as bamboo, reed, straw, palm leaf and untreated wood. Bamboo Import flame-retardant spray is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

After proper impregnation, such materials may meet the requirements of the EN1187 B-roof (T1) standard or comply with fire class C. Products treated with Bamboo Import flame retardant are protected for several years (depending on the treated surface).

Our fire protection spray consists of an aqueous solution of organic and inorganic salts. It is not harmful to the environment and is made up of biodegradable substances. It also contains no bromine compounds or propellants. It is colourless and odourless.

Instructions

Cover the area, floor or other materials with cloth or film before treatment.
Bamboo Import flame-retardant spray is a ready-to-use product and should not be diluted. To ensure proper treatment, 1 litre of Bamboo Import flame retardant is needed to treat 4–5 m² of surface. This depends on the absorbency of the material being treated.
Treat the surface with the Bamboo Import flame-retardant bottle from a distance of +/- 20-30 cm.
Bamboo Import flame retardant must be applied evenly to the surface at all times.
When applied correctly, the treated material should be damp, but no dripping should occur.
Once the product feels completely dry, it can be used. Remove any wet residue with a cloth or sponge.
Clean the area (floor / wall) with warm water immediately after use and before the product dries.
When using Bamboo Import flame retardant, ensure adequate ventilation and wash your hands and contact points after use.
