Black Bamboo Sliding Gate Fence

Marco van G. from Flevoland was considering the idea of building a unique bamboo garden fence with an integrated sliding gate at the entrance to his home. His eye was caught by the black bamboo fence panels in ourGiant collection  , and he asked us whether it was possible to build a matching sliding gate for him. One important requirement was that the bamboo gate had to hang on a track system so it could “float” over a gravel path.

After a brief calculation and some brainstorming, we got straight to work. Our designers chose brown-stained pine for the sliding gate frame, to which the black bamboo fence panel was securely attached. The corners of the wooden frame were reinforced with metal corner brackets.

A few weeks later we received photos of the final result, and it must be said — the black bamboo sliding gate fence looks great!

Wooden posts andstainless steel clamps   were used to install the bamboo fence. The wooden posts were covered withhalf-round black bamboo poles  covered. Finally,black bamboo edging   was added to the garden for the ultimate finishing touch.
