Commercial and Retail Design and Room Dividers Made of Bamboo

Bamboo, a sustainable and eco-friendly facade.

Bamboo offers fantastic design solutions for private homes andcommercial projects for buildings and stores, and for creating beautiful room dividers and shop window displays. Stores selling cosmetics, jewelry, or clothing often use bamboo poles and bamboo screens as decoration or as a backdrop for presenting their products.

Rituals is a good example of a cosmetics retail chain that has chosen bamboo for their shop windows. For this project, we painted pieces of  Chinese Moso bamboo poles . The green bamboo fits the presentation perfectly and emphasizes the clean and natural qualities of the products.

This Swarovski jewelry store has chosen a  bamboo screen  as a backdrop for a display of earrings and necklaces. The contrast between natural bamboo and a modern white panel is very successful.

Solid bamboo panels  have a warm look and are ideal for covering walls and floors, as seen on this exhibition stand. The large bamboo poles give the design a playful touch.

For the shop windows of clothing retailerAnna van Toor , who specializes inwomen’s fashion , we made custom-made bamboo partitions. In this design, we used  dark bamboo rolls  with a base made of  bamboo plywood .

Overzee2  in Terschelling used our  split bamboo rolls  andand half-round bamboo poles  pin an original way forthe ceiling covering . The store design also features a lovely bamboo table with a glass top.

Aldor Lighting  in Castricum recently installed our  bamboo screens  as room dividers for their shop window.

The natural green color of bamboo trees in a bamboo grove often sparks the imagination. However, the color of the bamboo culm changes to yellow/beige once it has been harvested. To simulate living bamboo, we used green-painted bamboo poles in a wooden crate with white pebbles for this large bamboo room divider.

Bamboo poles provide a very popular decorative accent in modern store design. This barber shop in the Netherlands used Java Black bamboo  from Indonesia.
