Bamboo worktop 5-layer carbonized side press 3000 x 700 x 40 mm

This 5-layer carbonized bamboo bench measuring 3000 x 700 x 40 mm is constructed with 5 layers of vertically printed bamboo strips. With side printed bamboo boards, the visible strips are narrow, giving the worktop an elegant appearance.

Five-layer construction guarantees high stability and a playful appearance that is highly sought after for applications where the sides of the panel are visible. Due to the waterproof bonding, solid bamboo benches are ideal for worktops, worktops, worktops etc.

Bamboo has fantastic properties and is a great alternative to replacing a traditional oak bench, kitchen table or worktop. The fastest growing deciduous trees take at least 30 to 40 years before they can be harvested. As hardwood is becoming sharper and trees are being harvested with shorter rotations, most hardwoods currently on the market are of inferior quality.

Working on solid bamboo boards

• Bamboo plywood always has a visible and a back. The back of a bamboo bench generally has more color variation than the visible side.
• All our bamboo boards are untreated, but can easily be painted with wood oil or varnish for the desired look.
• The inner layers of bamboo plywood consist of laminated bamboo strips which can show small spaces between the strips (on the sides, not the face or the back). This is done to optimize the stability of the panels. These small holes can be filled when the panel is complete.
• Bamboo kitchen counters can be sawn and drilled with conventional woodworking tools. Just make sure the tools are well sharpened.
• Solid bamboo panels can be glued with a waterproof D3 glue for interior.
